Health Care for the Homeless President & CEO Jeff Singer was named the 2010 top Health Care Hero in the Community Outreach category by the Baltimore Daily Record. Jeff was recognized for his 40-year commitment to poor and vulnerable populations, his 23 years with HCH, and his vision and steadfast leadership toward the creation of the new Health Care for the Homeless clinic and headquarters building at 421 Fallsway. The award was presented during the Health Care Heroes Awards Ceremony on March 24. Two days later on March 26, Jeff was named Maryland’s Social Worker of the Year during a luncheon gathering of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
