What: Health Care for the Homeless client Nisrin Abdel Rahman will be sharing her experience with housing instability as an immigrant and a mother during an upcoming webinar with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Homeless and Housing Resource Network. 

As part of the Persons with Lived Experience Spotlight Series, “Understanding the Experience of Family Homelessness: Supports, Barriers, and Solutions” is the second in a three-part series exploring the challenges of families experiencing homelessness. Guest presenters will highlight the unique difficulties they experienced and offer recommendations for better support and services for families without stable housing.

Service providers, policy makers, people working with behavioral health and recovery support needs are encouraged to participate.
