What: Join House of Ruth Maryland's, Men Greater than Violence (MGTV) community conversation event. They have spent years conducting listening sessions with a wide range of groups across the city. This is a 3 day event that will take place on 6/7, 6/14, and 6/21.

Conversation 2: Power and Privilege

• Privilege is not necessarily the granting of advantages, but a lack of societal or systemic barriers to success, safety, or happiness. To challenge an oppressive system you must first identify how you experience power and oppression within that system. This discussion will focus on the powers, privileges, stereotypes, and assumptions that are made regarding gender, and how to use the power you hold in society for positive change.
