What: The National Health Care for the Homeless Council and the National Coalition for the Homeless will be hosting a National Virtual Memorial. Join us as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Homeless Person’s Memorial Day to honor our neighbors without homes who have passed away this year. There will be a reflection of the last 30 years, a video honoring the lost ones, stories about a few of them and a message from the Executive Director of the National Health Care for the Homeless Council about reimagining how our communities function in ways that uplift well-being and how we create a world without homeless death. We know this year has been particularly difficult for many of us, so please join this memorial to give yourself time to reflect on the trauma of homelessness, grieve in solidarity for all that we have lost, and recommit ourselves to ending homelessness.
