A new home for your flyers

At Health Care for the Homeless, there’s a lot to share – and even more ways to share it. With multiple sites and endless prime wall space, figuring out where and how to put up flyers can be quite the challenge. So, we’re putting up staff and client community bulletin boards at all our sites to house your flyers and get the details out about your upcoming events or projects - and we’ll even help with distribution!

Here’s how it works: draft a flyer for your event or project with one of our flyer templates that includes the what, when and where. Then, send it over to the communications team (Sydnee or Kate) who can give it a second set of eyes and help with any irksome formatting issues. Once it’s ready to go, communications will send it over to our fantastic facilities team who will laminate it and post it on the designated community boards across our sites.

Below, find a list of all the community board locations and check them frequently to see what’s going on around Health Care for the Homeless and beyond:

201 E. Baltimore Offices

  • Staff board: Lunchroom

Baltimore County Clinic

  • Client board: Waiting room

Convalescent Care Clinic

  • Client board: Reception area

Downtown Clinic 421 Fallsway

  • Client boards: 1st floor main entrance vestibule and lobby, 2nd floor lobby,  3rd floor waiting room area (“bump out”) and elevators
  • Staff board: 3rd floor lunchroom

Due to stigma and structural discrimination, transgender people—particularly transgender people of color—experience high rates of homelessness. Following the implementation of the Trans Health Equity Act in January, we talked with TRAC leadership about their work and community.
