The "Managing to Change the World" series covers the basics of effective supervision & management.

Offered exclusively online in 2023, the series is available in either 4-day or 2-day programs and costs $775. Your professional development funds can be applied to this training and you can use your paid PD days to attend!

These trainings fill up FAST, so make your plans to attend well in advance.

 


What to expect:

This training covers topics including how to:

  • Delegate projects and responsibilities effectively
  • Use goals to hand off broad responsibilities
  • Check in with staff efficiently
  • Nurture relationships and belonging on one’s team
  • Give feedback and develop staff
  • Address performance problems equitably and manage people out
  • Work more effectively with one’s own manager by “managing up”
  • Keep organized and use time effectively
  • Incorporate an equity lens in applying the management practices above
