The Job Opportunities Task Force works to develop and advocate policies and programs to increase the skills, job opportunities, and incomes of low-skill, low-income workers and job seekers.
Maryland Budget and Tax Policy Institute - www.marylandpolicy.org
The Institute provides independent, nonpartisan research and analysis of state budget and tax policy priorities with a particular focus on how policy decisions affect low- and moderate-income families, vulnerable populations, and the important community programs that serve them.
Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative - www.healthcareforall.com
The Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative is a non-profit corporation working to bring about a coordinated system ensuring universal access to health care in Maryland. HCH is a founding member of a coalition now numbering over 1,000 organizations in support of universal health care legislation.

The Mental Health Association of Maryland provides education and advocacy on behalf of individuals with mental illness.
National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of Maryland - www.ncaddmaryland.org
NCADD-Maryland works to raise public awareness of alcoholism and drug dependence issues across the state, while working to ensure those affected by the disease of addiction have the resources necessary when accessing treatment and sustaining recovery. National Health Care for the Homeless Council and the HCH Clinician's Network - www.nhchc.org
The National Council is a membership organization of health care providers working with homeless people across the United States. The Council exists to help bring about reform of the health care system to best serve the needs of people who are homeless. Members of the HCH Clinicians' Network share a passionate commitment to combating and preventing homelessness while improving the health and quality of life of homeless people. The Network provides opportunities for education, information sharing, peer support and networking. Membership in the Clinicians' Network is open to any hands-on provider of care to homeless individuals.

The National Coalition for the Homeless is a national advocacy network of homeless persons, activists, service providers and others committed to ending homelessness through public education, policy advocacy, grassroots organizing and technical assistance.
National Low-Income Housing Coalition - www.nlihc.org
The National Low Income Housing Coalition/LIHIS is the only national organization dedicated solely to ending America's affordable housing crisis. The coalition is committed to educating, organizing and advocating to ensure decent, affordable housing within health neighborhoods for everyone. The organization provides up-to-date information, formulates policy and educates the public on housing needs and the strategies for solutions.

The mission of NLCHP is to prevent and end homelessness by serving as the legal arm of the nationwide movement to end homelessness.
Physicians for a National Health Program - www.pnhp.org
Physicians for a National Health Program advocates for a universal, comprehensive national health program financed through a single payer mechanism. PNHP performs research on the health crisis and the need for fundamental reform, participates in the public debate and contributes scholarly articles to peer-reviewed medical journals. PNHP has chapters across the United States.
