2026 Voter Registration Drive
Nothing about us, without us!
“We need more folks voting because this is a way of taking power back.
This impacts you and everyone around you—your family, friends, your community and the direction of the country itself.”
–Director of Community Relations and Engagement Malcolm Williams, LCSW-C
Barriers in our election system have made it so only 1 in 10 unhoused people vote! Health Care for the Homeless clients and community members deserve to be represented in our local, state and national elections.
That’s why this election year, our team is working hard to get out the vote and make sure people know their options. Early voting runs June 11–18, or you can vote on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 23.
On Election Day:
- Not registered to vote? In Maryland, you can register at any Early Voting location or register at the polls on Election Day.
- Visit the Maryland Board of Elections' page to look up your voter registration status or find your polling location.
- Call or text the Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-687-8683 if you or someone experiencing homelessness encounters issues with voting while at the polls.
