Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Report

Annual influenza vaccination is an important preventive health measure, particularly for the clients served by Health Care for the Homeless, who may experience increased barriers to preventive care and other factors that can increase their risk of illness and complications. Consistently offering the seasonal flu vaccine at every appropriate opportunity helps ensure that clients have access to vaccination and can make an informed decision about receiving it.

This report monitors influenza vaccination activity across Health Care for the Homeless departments during the current flu season. It provides visibility into:

  • Vaccine Offer Rate – the percentage of eligible clients who were offered the seasonal influenza vaccine.
  • Vaccine Administration Rate – the percentage of eligible clients who received the influenza vaccine.
  • Vaccine Declination Rate – the percentage of eligible clients who were offered the vaccine and declined it.

Results can be reviewed by department to identify trends, recognize opportunities for improvement, and support consistent influenza vaccination practices across the agency.

Social Determinants of Health
