Homeless Persons' Memorial Day 2024

On Homeless Persons' Memorial Day, we came together at War Memorial Plaza to honor the community members who passed away without homes in 2024.

Every December 21, we gather on the longest night of the year to remember those we have lost and to demand more of ourselves, our representatives, and our communities. No one should live or die without a home.

In his closing remarks, President & CEO Kevin Lindamood said, "For some on our memorial list tonight, named and unnamed, we know perhaps that few people noticed when they slipped from light to dark; when they paid the ultimate price for our nation's failure to end homelessness. We remember them tonight."
