U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announces federal Overdose Prevention Strategy

At the end of October, we had the priveleage of welcoming U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra to our downtown clinic for a tour, harm reduction roundtable and press conference announcing the Department’s new federal overdose prevention strategy.

He was joined by Mayor Brandon M. Scott Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, HHS Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use and Administrator of SAMHSA, Regina LaBelle, Acting Director, Office of National Drug Control Policy, Brian Frosh, Maryland Attorney General and Congressman David Trone.
