2024 Changes in Clinic Hours

As part of our work to stabilize operations in 2024, we will begin the year with updated hours across clinic sites. As always, you can find all up-to-date information under Hours and Locations, but read on for an overview of the changes as of January 2024 as well as printable one-pagers. 

421 Fallsway

  • Open longer on the first three Thursdays a month (7 am-5 pm)
  • Longer MAT walk-in hours on the first three Thursdays a month (8 am-2pm)
  • Telehealth now available on Saturdays (8 am-12 pm)
  • Medical walk-in hours are now Monday-Friday (7-11:30 am), with more 24-hour appointment slots
  • Pediatrics is closed on Wednesdays; OB services available all day on Thursdays

West Baltimore

  • Open longer on the first three Thursdays a month (8 am-4:30 pm)
  • Closed on Fridays

  • Dental services moved to Downtown Clinic

The Trans Rights Advocacy Coalition (TRAC) has been the driving force in championing trans rights policy changes in Maryland. Due to stigma and structural discrimination, transgender people—particularly transgender people of color—experience high rates of homelessness. Following the implementation of the Trans Health Equity Act in January, we talked with TRAC leadership about their work and community.

Since starting in January 2022, REI Health Specialist Arie Hayre-Somuah, LMSW, MPH has worked with our clinical teams to identify health disparities and move us closer to health equity. This year, she is turning her focus to the topic of health literacy.
