What: Barriers in our election system have made it so only 1 in 10 people experiencing homelessness vote! Health Care for the Homeless clients and community members deserve to be represented in our elections. That's why our team is helping people register to vote in May and June.
Make a plan to vote:
- Election day: Tuesday, November 3
- Early voting: Thursday, October 22 through Thursday, October 29
- Find your polling place
- Check your registration
In Maryland, you can register to vote during early voting or on election day. If you or someone experiencing homelessness encounters issues with voting while at the polls, call or text the Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683).
