At the end of October, we had the priveleage of welcoming U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra to our downtown clinic for a tour, harm reduction roundtable and press conference announcing the Department’s new federal overdose prevention strategy.

On Thursdays, 1/14 and 1/21, we had the opportunity to vaccinate a total of 100 staff members on-site. A HUGE thank you to our CMAs, Medical, Operations, Communications, IT, Informatics, Compliance staff and leadership for making these two days run smoothly! The week of 1/25, we'll roll out vaccines for clients.

Clients couldn't come to us for our holiday dinner, so we brought meals to them! We delivered meals from some of our favorite local businesses, Land of Kush, Ida B's Table and Class Act Catering, to 340 guests at shelters across Baltimore—each with a card full of holiday cheer.

On February 27, 2020, almost 300 staff, clients and community partners took Annapolis by storm to talk with lawmakers about housing, health care and livable incomes. Together, we spoke directly to legislators about expungement expansion, minors' right to consent to shelter, overdose prevention sites and the HOME Act.
