HIV Testing and Counseling

We provide free, confidential HIV testing—at our clinics and on our mobile clinic.

We urge you to take the first step and walk in for testing and counseling services. No appointment or application is necessary.

Our HIV testers are highly educated and trained.

Our staff members work with people who are HIV-positive to teach them how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including how to develop habits that help keep sex and/or needle sharing partners safe. When individuals are HIV-positive but not yet in treatment, we help them connect with the appropriate medical and social services.

Additionally, educational and risk-reduction programs are available to people, regardless of their HIV status.

Specific services offered include:

  • on-site HIV testing
  • pre-test information and post-test counseling
  • risk reduction behavior screening and counseling
  • Evaluation for—and where appropriate, initiation of—Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV negative persons at risk
