National Indigenous People's Day 2023
On October 9, 2023, the United States will celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day for the third consecutive year, in conjunction with Columbus Day.
Although it is not yet a national holiday the Indigenous Peoples' Day Act, which was reintroduced to Congress on October 2, 2023, proposes for the second Monday of October to be designated as Indigenous Peoples' Day nationwide.
