Our Lobby Day Bills

In case you missed our February All-Staff Meeting, get a marvelous introduction to the four bills we're prioritizing by watching this brief video. Tammy Montague, David Hunter., Iris Leviner and David Dexter explain why the following issues are so important for our clients:

  • Overdose Prevention Site Program Authorization
  • Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) Act
  • Minors' Right to Consent to Housing
  • Expungement Expansion

Read up on these bills here.

Your Teams

You've taken your Lobby Day survey and been divvied into teams!

Each Lobby Day team:

  • is formed around one of our four prioritized bills
  • has dedicated Team Captains (you'll get the chance to break into smaller groups on the actual day)
  • will visit 2-4 assigned lawmakers to advocate on your respective bill
  • engage in other activities (thank you cards, packet deliveries, hearings) throughout the day

We’ll provide each team with bill information and background, lawmaker names and office numbers, meeting times and talking points! In short, you'll have all the information you need for a successful Lobby Day.
