Our City Council passed a $15 minimum wage bill. Our mayor vetoed it. Now the council threatens to squander an opportunity to override that veto. Meanwhile, the cheapest rent in Baltimore requires $16.37/hr pay.

Due to stigma and structural discrimination, transgender people—particularly transgender people of color—experience high rates of homelessness.
